I Believe in Ghosts - New York Times

There is something familiar about this piece. Maybe it's the way a fascination with ghosts runs in families. Or perhaps it's the manner in which each family member deals with anomalies in daily life. While some of us would rush to purchase a haunted house, generally speaking real estate with a spooky past tends to lose its value over time. (Maybe it's the ectoplasm staining the carpets.)
