Cryptozoologist of the Year 2018: Anna Nekaris, Ph. D. - CryptoZoo News
Congratulations to 2018's Cryptozoologist of the Year, Dr. Anna Nekaris. Dr. Nekaris has dedicated her career to the study of 11 species of a little known primate, the Asian Loris. "In the realm of enlightened cryptozoology, Anna Nekaris stands out as a shining example of a primatologist interested identifying new species and examining evidence for hidden species," noted Loren Coleman, who announced the award at the annual International Cryptozoology Conference in Portland, Maine, this weekend. The fact that Dr. Nekaris views both Sasquatch and Yeti as reasonable examples of hidden primates is a boon both to the fortean field and to our own spirits. We can think of no better recipient for the Golden Yeti and wish the Dr. much luck and success in her future research. (CM)
