Denver Riggleman Claims That, No, He Does Not Believe in Bigfoot - Rolling Stone

Eric Killelea follows up the story we covered on July 31 by interviewing the Republican candidate for Virginia's 5th District about his interest in Bigfoot. Denver Riggleman admits to researching, attending expeditions, and writing about Bigfoot. But he insists he is not a Bigfoot fetishist. (He also denies being a white supremacist.) He said his forthcoming book The Mating Habits of Bigfoot and Why Women Want Him is simply a "political allegory," which he will now not self-publish until after the election. Timothy J. Dailey, a Christian activist, has a different view: Christian Radio Show Calls Bigfoot a "Demonic Virtual Reality Projection". Bigfoot is apparently whatever you want it to be. (PH)
