The Godzilla toy, experienced late 2000.

I roomated with a couple that had 2 kids, they had a Godzilla toy that would make noises when you pressed any of its 3 buttons. It mostly sat on the shelf as the kids were still too young to be playing with it.

we all moved to a trailer in the country with a real roof added and extra rooms added on to it. One night I was on my computer in the middle of the night and the lights turned off and on in succession from back (their bedroom with the kids) to the front where I was on my computer I heard the click of the breaker switch in their room flick on and off 3 times, 1 for their room, one for the kitchen, and one for the living room. off, and on, off and on, and only did it once. At the time I was mad because I was working on something I lost to due the power flicking off and on and I figured they were just looking for the right breaker for the back. The next morning I told them to give me heads up if they plan on testing breakers in the future as I was working on something and they had cut my computer off. they all denied such an event, that they were asleep, we walked back to the breaker switches, right on the inside next to their bedroom door to check it out, yep, 3 switches, all did as I expected, 1st one for the bedroom, 2nd for the hallway and kitchen and 3rd for the living room. then I thought maybe the 2 year old did it, but the switches were too high for a 2 year old to reach, plus pretty hefty, I doubt a 2 year old could push them back up even if he could pull them down, and then again, finding something to stand on and open the shield door.

As we headed back to the living room and we all sat there wondering how strange it was that the switches went off and on one by one the toy Godzilla started making noises like someone pressed the button one time. Then after laughing at it and joking it was a ghost, it made a noise again. We looked at it for a while keeping silent and it stayed quiet too. he took the Godzilla toy off the shelf and put it on the floor after checking the toy for damage and loose buttons, we proceeded to continue talking about ghost activity and every time we mentioned the word ghost or spirit, the toy began to work on its own. After that day every once in a while the toy would make a noise once then stop, usually when were all spending time together, as if whatever was there was enjoying contributing to our fun.

The 4 months that I lived there nothing else happened, the breaker switches never switched on and off again and the toy remained on the shelf untouched for the rest of my time there only announcing itself from time to time seemingly to say hi, but not that often, before I moved out they did become more agitated and fought more and more (think The Shining) but right before I moved out the subject of the weird rooms add-ons to the trailer and the addition of the roof came up with some neighbors who knew the previous owner:

This guy had parked his trailer on his land, added some rooms to the back, built a common roof over all of it (a common shingle A style roof) then sometime went up to the crawl space that served as an attic and shot himself. then we come along and move in. But I didn't leave because of that,I left due to the every day fighting and how violent it got towards the end (him throwing her against walls, hitting her hard, both kids screaming) otherwise I think I would have investigated more.
