Last night (well, technically this morning) at around 2 am, I heard tapping on/in all of the walls in my bedroom. Anyway, it sounded like some was tapping their finger with an acrylic (or long) fingernail. The sounds would be really fast and then really slow. I thought it could be my fan and/or the a/c shaking my room, so I waited until the a/c turned off then I shut off my fan and the tapping kept going.
The house I live in now has only been built for about 8 months and on the other side of one of the walls is where the water pipes go up, so those two things could be why I heard this noise. But it doesn't feel like that. I've always attracted supernatural/paranormal stuff ever since I was little so I'm not new to these things; I've just never dealt with tapping.
Another thing I should probably is that, a week ago, my brother (doesn't really believe in ghosts) told me he heard a door slam very hard at 3 am; he said that it was as if my dad, who is 6'3 and really buff, put both hands on the door knob and pulled with all of his strength.
Another thing that just happened, I heard walking upstairs and I heard a door close, so I assumed it was my brother; I heard the garage door open, so I was like, "No, no, there's no way," and I went into the garage to see my brother who has apparently been gone all morning.
What could the sounds (tapping, footsteps, slamming) be from?
