Peru: UFO Recorded Over Nazca Lines; Thousands Frightened - Inexplicata

Well, some of the comments say "cloud," the video moves around so much that we're irritated rather than "frightened," and a comparison of the image at the beginning and 90 seconds later seems to indicate the "tube-shaped UFO" was not "completely static." So we're not enthralled by this video although a "still" zoom at its end is interesting. More pedestrian in title but substantive in content is Scott Corrales' Remarks on UFO Activity in Brazil, 1997. Actually, the article focuses on 1979 and 1996 cases, including a 1996 "UFO Wave" that unfortunately occurred in northeast Brazil, historically a journalistic "blackout" area. Greg Eghigian takes us over to Italy for A Visit to Turin and the Centro Italiano Studi Ufologici. Anyone really interested in the UFO subject should know about and appreciate the work being done by Italian ufologists, and Greg's article is a welcome discussion. Speaking of UFO history, Kevin Randle touches upon a fascinating subject in The Levelland Sightings and the Condon Committee. Kevin is stumped by the Condon Committee's apparent disinterest in one of the more significant and potentially information-rich electromagnetic effect cases on record. Kevin remarks "This was at best, a missed opportunity and at worst just another example of how not to actually conduct research." (WM)
