I just posted this on askreddit, but would like to share it here as well. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, or of I just freaked out at the sight of 2 stray dogs.
This happened 4 years ago. I know that cause it came up on my FB memories. It isn't really like a "holy shit I saw ghost story, but it left me unsettled." June 30, 2014 around 7:15 PM. I was getting off at a train station in South Chicago after a day of work. It is getting dark and green outside and there is a storm coming. I get to my car and realize my front passenger tire is flat. Not surprising since I hit one of those infamous Chicago pot-holes. So I start changing and it starts pouring. I start getting the feeling that I'm being watched. I look up and around 15 yards from me are 2 giant German Shepherds just looking at me. Not growling, not trying to hide from this massive storm, just looking at me. I locked myself in the car and ended up calling up a friend to come out and help me change the tire, mostly because I was fucking terrified. I don't know why I was terrified either. I like dogs, I've been in thunder storms before, I've changed tires in my life, but there was something so strange about it. Especially since by the time I got into my car and looked back the dogs were gone. I have no idea where they went.
