When I was about 4 or 5, I was staying at my grandmothers house. It was a townhouse, it wasn't very old. I had a playpen set up in my grandmothers room, because I was afraid to sleep in her guest room. Grandma put me to bed that night and I crashed. I woke up in the middle of the night and looked over to see grandma sleeping soundly, then I saw something out of the corner of my eye in her en-suit. I looked over and squinted to see, and a girl, maybe 7 or 8 years old walked out. I didn't think anything of it because I was so young it didn't really register that something was a bit off. The girl came up to my playpen and I stood up to look at her. I don't remember what she said to me, but I do remember she offered me a piece of bubblegum. Of course I said yes, and I took the gum out of her hand and said thank you. After that, she turned and walked back into the en-suit. My grandma woke up and saw me standing there. SHe asked what I was doing. I told her the little girl in the bathroom just gave me some gum and that she was really nice. Grandma got out of bed and came up to me and asked to see the gum, so I showed her. Then she took it from me and said I couldn't have it in the middle of the night, so we both went back to sleep. I remember the encounter clear as day, but grandma doesn't. SHe always brushes off encounters that I have, she chalks it up to dreams. But if it was a dream, how did I get the bubblegum?
