I need answers

If you have any theories or answers to what might be happening to me please share them in the comments.

I recently have been able to tell time without checking any kind of clock.

This is probably just from knowing how My body works and my sleeping patterns, but every time I wake up from my bed I generally know what general time frame it is during the day like if it’s really early like 6AM in the morning or if it’s really late in the day like 12 or 1PM. I don’t have an alarm on at all because I don’t have a job and school is out because it’s summer (I generally wake up around 6AM-3PM)

It’s like I have a voice in my head. It tells me right when I open my eyes, I haven’t even moved from my sleeping position and it will tell me “it’s really early in the morning go back to sleep.” ( I don’t usually wake up early) then I go to look at my phone to see what time it is and tends to be around 6-8 AM. (Which may not be early for you but in my perspective that time of day is what I consider to be early.) I even can sometimes predict what the hour is and sometimes the hour and minutes.

This also will happen when it comes to people asking for what time it is. I always can seem to predict correctly what time it is or very close to it. In my head it will say “1:00” somebody will check their phone and say that it’s 12:59 or somewhere close to it. Once in a while I can be 15-20 minutes ahead or behind but I don’t really ever get the hour wrong.

I sometimes can predict people’s answers to my questions as well (but may be because I know them.) I can even predict what song will come next on shuffle sometimes too. (More often than not).

Since I was really young, like 8 or even 7 I have always been a magnet for animals and little children. But this experience I had feels a little too weird for some reason. Every time I look back at it Something about it feels strange. I don’t know maybe I am just over thinking. But this one time really struck me.

I was in Costa Rica for a family vacation during midwinter break with my Mom, Step Dad, my sister Maddie, and two brothers Cameron and Gavin. We decided to go out to dinner and went into the city of Guanacaste.

Tons of Dogs meandered in packs throughout the streets along with pedestrians which was an odd site for me coming from a subdivision of middle class people outside of Detroit. We found a restaurant that wasn’t as packed as the other restaurants around town that served Mexican food.

The restaurant had two floors. The top floor had no windows or walls really just a balcony the separated us from the outside. The waiter brought us to the top floor and sat us next to the balcony. We all chatted and ordered our drinks and food like what a usual person does at a restaurant.

When we finished and paid the bill I looked from the balcony to see what was happening down underneath us. People and dogs roamed the side walks. As a pack of dogs passed by the restaurant one dog with yellow hair looked up and saw me. I smiled and waved at it.

The dog parted away from its pack and sat in front of the steps of the restaurants exit. Cameron tapped my shoulder and yelled at me to pay attention to what was going on around me and that we were going to get ice cream. When I walked down the steps I noticed to dog was still sitting there in front of steps.

As soon as my foot left the last step and touched the concrete floor the dog stood up with great enthusiasm and walked beside me. We came across a ice cream store that was colorfully painted with green and orange. We walked up the stores steps and so did the dog right by my side. The dog waited outside, staring at me through the glass door of the parlor.

I ordered a small vanilla ice cream in a cup. While eating it l looked at the door noticing the dog was still there wagging its tail happily. I walked up to the door and crouch to the dogs height. I put my hand on the glass.

The dog then began to sniff the glass where I placed my hand. Like as if there was never any glass to separate us to begin with. It began to lick the glass as if it was licking my hand. I smiled.

My brother Gavin walks up to the glass door and crouches with my with his chocolate ice cream in hand. I forget what he said at the time but I remember what he said irritated me. He put his hand on the glass door like I did.

I remember a little voice popping into the back of my head telling me that the dog wasn’t going to like him and will be irritated by him. The dog sniffed it and growled at him. He quickly withdrew his hand quickly

. It shocked me a little bit because i didn’t think that that would actually be the reaction the dog would have towards my brother. It sniffed my hand again and it began to wag its tail again happily and This sounds weird but It felt like me and the dog were one in a way.

I don’t know about the dog but that was what I kind of felt. My brother walks away leaving me and the dog to ourselves. I finished my ice cream and exit the parlor so I could pet the dog. I brushed my hand on its soft head. The dog went onto her back begging me to rub her belly

. I smiled at the cuteness she gave off and rubbed her belly. An old couple exited the parlor with ice cream and one plain vanilla cone and gave it to the dog. The couple smiled as the dog got up and ate the cone. I talked to the old couple for a little to prevent any awkwardness from bidding.

They soon left eating their ice cream. The dog stayed with me. My parents and sibilings soon after exit the parlor. I get up from the steps and follow them. The dog walks with me as we walk to our car. My brother Cameron notices that the dog is still accompanying me and tells me that the dog needs to leave us alone. I told him that I already knew that

. I knew that once my brother saw I wasn’t going to make any attempt to get the dog to leave me alone that he would try to take on the task with his own hands. The little voice popped up again telling me that the dog won’t listen to his controlling and harsh demands. “Hey! Leave!” He yells at the dog. The dog ignores his commands.

“Get our of here!” He yells again

“I said go away.” He yells but this time trying to kick the dog. The dog still remained by my side.

“Hey! don’t kick the dog! What makes you think you can do that?!” I yell at him.

“Well you weren’t doing anything!”

“Doesn’t mean you can kick her!”

“Whatever.” My brother says leaving me behind. The dog sits.

I crouch down the the dogs level. “ sorry about that.” I tell her.

“I will miss you.” I tell her this time hugging her.

“I’m sorry that you have to go. Bye.” I tell her. Waving my hand. A pack of dogs passes by us. The dog got up and left. I walk back to my family. They tell me that I should wash my hands when I get home because the dog is probably dirty

. I told them how I thought that whole situation with the dog I found a little weird but they didn’t believe me and told me that was following me just because it probably wanted food.

But that explanation didn’t make sense because I wasn’t even carrying around any food and dogs are known to have a keen sense of smell so therefore the dog probably knew that I had no food me. It was also fed a cone by that old couple who was eating ice cream in front of her and she never began to follow them, and they had food.

To this day I still can’t really explain why that dog was following me or how every situation unraveled. It might have something to do with the fact that I am autistic. autistic people are a little known to have deep connections and magnetism to animals and children. But I don’t have any clue what this could mean. But I feel like this MUST mean something! And I don’t know why.
