Do you think that certain elements and compounds could cause more ghost sightings?

I've been listening to a lot of podcasts and they are talking about how this one area is essentially a hot bed for paranormal activity. It has me wondering if these areas that also have a higher influx in activity than others could be because there is something that entities might need to manifest there. Perhaps like a mineral or an element. I'm not sure if my theory is making sense but I am curious what others think?

Could or should we test the most famously haunted areas and see if there is anything there that is in common? I mean beyond tragity and death of course.
