I did a sage cleansing in my house with my friend today. We did the basics; walked around with a sage stick, murmured prayers, told the bad spirits to pack their stuff and leave.
We had some extra sage left so we broke it up and divided it into two small shallow glass bowls. We each held one in our palms, and the sage was burning like embers in a fire. Not too hot to warm up the entire bowl because we were able to hold them.
On our second round through, we made our way back to the darkest and most negatively energized room in the house. She went around that room while I stayed in the hallway. My dog had lay down and I told my friend to come look, and I had said something like “she must feel comfortable in here, this must’ve worked.”
My friend was on her way to see and just as she was exiting the room her glass bowl burst into shards; glass and ash went everywhere.
I heard the explosion before I saw it, and I thought maybe she had thrown the bowl or dropped it. I made my way over and saw her standing there in shock, half the bowl still in her hand.
She didn’t break it herself; the glass would have fallen down and cut her hand. Her hand was fine; no scrapes or broken glass in it.
Afterwords she said she had been thinking: “sometimes bad forces can stay after a cleansing... but it’s rare.” And it happened immediately after she had the thought.
I don’t see how there’s a scientific explanation. There are ash trays that are thinner glass than the bowls we had? And the bowl was kept at room temperature.
My glass was fine when hers exploded. She has more spiritual energy than I do, so it would make sense it happened to her.
By all means, please explain why this happened. Whether it be paranormal or scientific, I need some explanation.
