Creatures Caught on Camera Conjure Chupacabra Comparisons - Coast to Coast AM

In the category of "Well, That's Not at All Disturbing," two US cities have recently fielded reports of strange canines that officials have identified as foxes with mange. So while some feel comfortable crying "chupacabra," we'd like to suggest instead shouting "habitat destruction" or--here's a crazy idea--have natural resource officials find out why the mange is spreading. Next, Nick Redfern is Looking Back at a Quest to Find a Chupacabra. In the sweltering heat of Texas in the summer of 2010, Redfern found himself on the investigative trail of a canine reported to move as both quadruped and biped. While he suspected a coyote was the actual cryptid and was able to complete the filming, which was his goal, it seems he did not get a chance to prove his theory conclusively. (CM)
