My sister and I were sharing a bed in a room at my great grandmother's house that was probably built sometime in the 20s. The room is small and dimly lit from a medium sized window. It only contained a full bed with a dresser with a small amount of walking space. We stayed in that room several times throughout our childhood and never noticed anything weird other than the house just being inherently old and creepy. One night we were laying in bed about to fall asleep, when I noticed that the room had two closets. I was immediately freaked out because I had previously thought there was only one closet. But sure enough, I definitely saw two seperate open pitch black closets. One on the left side of the bed and one on the right. I rolled over to ask my sister how many closets were in the room. She responded with, "One" before turning away from me and attempting to sleep again. I asked again, "Then why are there two?". She sat up, agreed that she saw two closets, but simply said we just must be mistaken. That was good enough for me so we both fell asleep. When I opened my eyes in the morning to a blank, white wall (i.e. no closet on my side of the bed)... I shook my sister awake and told her there was in fact, only ONE CLOSET.
We never slept in that room ever again. I'll mention it every once in awhile because its one of the few paranmoral experiences I've had, but my sister never wants to dwell on it for too long.
